I just realized that I screwed up my titles. Hopefully that didn’t confuse you and you got your girl all spiffed up and ready for love for Challenge #7.
I did my little trim and shave, which is not my personal preference (especially with a beach trip coming up), but it’s what I could do at the time. Is it sad that I’m looking forward to getting a wax?
A few of you commented that you definitely felt sexier with less hair, and I have the same experience. And I never EVER would have thought that in a million years until I actually tried it.
So speaking of “girls,” are yours riding higher today thanks to Challenge #8? If not, maybe you can snag some free time today to hit a lingerie shop and get measured. Or at least go through your drawer and clean it out.
If you missed Morning Sex with Mominatrix yesterday, take a few minutes to listen to Cheryl from G Boutique‘s lingerie shopping advice. She had some really great suggestions on how to find the right bra, what kind of thong is most comfortable, as well as some other ideas especially for moms.
And apparently I’m two for two when it comes to connecting the challenges to what’s going on in the world. First the g spot debacle and now this weird Facebook Bra Status. All for a good cause, of course.
So post a link to today’s challenge AND include the color of the NEW bra you’re wearing. WOO!
So for tomorrow ladies – it’s Challenge #9: Get a Sex Toy. A Good One.
My husband would laugh at this challenge because I own a lot of sex toys. I suppose it comes with the territory seeing as I do sex toy reviews at my Mominatrix column, so I do get a lot sent to me to try out.
In fact, I have this beauty just waiting to be charged up. (Coincidentally, Cecily from Upper Case Woman did a video review – not graphic – of this. It’s a really great analysis of the features. Check it out!)
I realize that most of you probably already own a sex toy, so if you don’t want a new one, then make sure it’s cleaned off and charged up or full of new batteries. You’re going to be using a sex toy for different things (and with other people – ahem) throughout the month, so you want to be ready.
And if you want to go ahead and use it, why please do! You could also figure out a new way to use an existing sex toy.
Just don’t, um, hurt yourself.
If you’ve got an old sex toy and you want to upgrade, now’s your chance. Sex toy shopping has gotten super easy thanks to the internet, and the advances that they make in toys every day is unreal.
Seriously, take a look around.
And if you don’t own one, then good golly what are you waiting for?
Like music, and well, most everything else in the world, sex toy preference is very personal. It can help to have a personal recommendation, but when it comes down to it, sex toy shopping can involve a lot of trial and error.
Though really, there’s not a lot of error to be had with these things.
Here are a few things to think about when you’re looking to buy a sex toy:
1. What are you going to use it for? Clitoral, vaginal, or anal stimulation (or some of the above, or all of the above).
2. Do you want it to require batteries or rechargeable?
3. Do you want something pretty quiet or does the volume not bother you?
4. Do you want something that looks like a vibrator or something more discrete?
5. Do you need various tempos and speeds, or does it not matter?
6. What’s your budget?
(Okay, so the list could go on, but that should be enough to get you started).
I personally tend to lean towards clitoral stimulating vibrators, though after the g spot challenge, I’m definitely going to get one of those. I also look for something that’s quiet, easy to hold, and discrete.
I do not need a gigantic vibrating penis.
With all that said, I’m currently obsessed with Lelo sex toys, and I really want a Lily. It’s one of their pricier ones (all of the Lelo toys are on the pricey side), but it’s super sleek (among other things). I’m a big fan of their toys in general.
