Welllllllllll now. Wouldn’t you know that my Liberator hipster arrived for review on the same day my husband came home?
And it was Challenge #4 - Lube it up.
Talk about providence.
So it’s official. Strawberry flavored lube makes everything taste better.
Eh, either way, the lube was great. Of course, I spent the last few minutes before falling asleep worried that the lube was full of sugar which is not so good for the lady parts. And God forbid I break my “no sugar” pact for the month of January.
I mean, if I’m going to break that, it’s going to be for a donut. Not some flavored lube.
Sorry people. I’m the Mominatrix but I’m not crazy.
However, I think I was pretty thorough in getting it all off.
Ahem.

Good luck on Challenge #5 today - your g-spot treasure hunt. Of course, as I write this, some researcher has decided that the g-spot doesn’t exist - obviously some frustrated dude who couldn’t find it, no doubt.
So prove them wrong, ladies!
And for god sakes make it fun. If you’re going to have your hands up there, you might as well make it a good time. You can head to the OB or Midwife’s office if you want the uncomfortable stuff.
So, Challenge #6: Make a Sex Playlist
This is a super fun way to get yourself in the mood, and a simple one too. (Hooray for nothing involving bottles of liquid and laundry, right?).
Make a list of your top 5 (or 10) songs (whatever you want!) that either get you in the mood, or keep you going once you’ve gotten started.
In the Mominatrix Book, I list out my top sex songs split into two categories “Bang ‘em til tomorrow” and “Make another baby.” It seemed pretty obvious to me, and my husband who, when I asked him for suggestions said “Oh, so do you want one night stand songs?”
Nice, honey.
But you can do them however you like. Just make sure you have them readily available (on CD or downloaded to your iPod) so you can use them. Not only does good music help set the mood, but it can cover up ambient noises (ah the slapping of bellies and butts!) and whiny kids who won’t sleep.

Madonna - Justify My Love (though the whole Erotica album pretty much does it)
Fiona Apple - Criminal (Yes, I’ve been a bad bad girl)
Timbaland & Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous Girl (Sense a theme here?)

Sexy songs. I tend to get a little old school in my taste for music. You can never go wrong with Al Green.
Toussaint L’Overture, Santana (on the 3rd album)
In fact, the whole album. But that song in particular always gets me up and around.

Okay. So I’m a busy mom, I came to this game late and found myself forced to multi-task. Last night, I went to bed naked, played out an erotic fantasy in my head, used up half a tube ‘o lube while my husband and I furiously searched for my G spot. If only I’d thought to wear a thong to bed, I’d have knocked off all 5 in one go!
But aside from some REALLY great sex, the whole sleeping naked thing just made me feel like I was going to wet the bed all night. What’s up with that?

Yeah, Julie. I’ve got some post partum leakage issues (not pee - though that’s happening too lately - ack), so the sleeping naked thing is always interesting.

Several Hawksley Workman songs do the trick quite nicely - nothing subtle about him when it comes to songs like Striptease, but sometimes subtle is just over rated

This challenge was a little more difficult for me…I guess that is why it is called a challenge. I love music…it is the central part of my life, but using music in the bedroom is something we have never even thought about or tried. So to find songs that put me in the mood or made it more exciting seemed like an unattainable goal. I didn’t know where to start. So for me, I sat down and thought through my curent playlists and looked up other songs and after about an hour I was able to compile a list of about 45 min worth of songs. All non-racy but more “love-making” songs. It turned out to be a little easier than I thought and got me looking for other music to try…maybe a little more intrumental for the next playlist! THanks for the great suggestion

Just added something to my list: the new Robin Thicke album “Sex Therapy”.
Wowsers.
And now I’m trying to forget that my oldest son, knowing that I love Robin Thicke, gave me the cd for Christmas.
