I feel your pain! When we moved to a new state I was required to take a written test before I could get my license and I was so frustrated when I failed! I mean, I just drove out of there anyway. :-/ I missed the question on what percentage of alcohol is too much in the blood or something like that - I don't drink so I didn't study that part thinking it didn't apply to me, lol. Ah well, I don't know anyone who loves the DMV anyway. Good luck the third time around! You'll get it next time. :-)

When I was a teen, our family moved to a new state. So my parents had to take new written tests to get new licenses. My dad passed on the first time, but my mom didn't. Of course, being the asshole family that we are, we ridicled her for it.
But come on, one of the questions was "If you're about to pull out of a driveway and there are children nearby, do you
A) use your rearview mirror to check for the children
B) Beep your horn to warn them of your moving car
C) Get out and check all around the car to make sure all is clear

And my mom checked B!!! My older sister and I said "Mom!? The answer will never, ever be 'beep the horn'!!!!

Damn you DMV!!!!!!!

Can't you get your hands on one of those study guides? I had to take another written test when we moved here (after having been driving for like 17 years already) and it was intimidating. But, get you one of those study guides and yeah, memorize that bastard and go in and pass that test with flying colors.

I failed my first actual road test in driving, too, so don't feel bad if that happens, too. And, honestly, I think it would be terrifying to do a road test now. I bet if we were all made to do a road test, the big majority of us would flunk.
