Whatever makes you feel good! If your belly is cute enough to show off a sparkly adornment, then go for it! Flaunt time is very limited. I was just at a waterpark yesterday and I always go away from those things with a whole new appreciation for every stage of the female figure. Whatever stage you're in, appreciate it, because honestly, it's alldownhill from wherever you are (unless you're like three, in which case I applaud your reading skills for being able to follow this thread).

I've got tattoos on my arms, but if I got my belly button done and exposed it to the world, I'd be blinding a shit ton of people. My belly hasn't seen daylight since 92

Good for you! Besides, you're ONLY 27. That's still young enough to display a belly button piercing. (please take it out before you get too old, otherwise it just looks silly) ;)

Now I know I'm probably the last person left in the world over 18 without a tattoo, buuuuut... there's a gal I know who is in her early 40's, a mommy, business woman who has a tat on her lower back (aka Tramp Stamp) of a cartoon kitty rolling in daisies (looks like baby Simba from Lion King). It may have been cute when who-knows-when she got it, but on this woman, it just looks ridiculous.
Tattoos are forever folks! What looked cute in your late teens/early 20's will not look cute on you in 20+ years.....
