Happy Mother’s Day
Because nothing says, “We love you, Mom,” more than a high powered suction device:

That’s right, I gave my wife something off of Yahoo’s 5 worst Mother’s Day gifts list. Does it help if I told you she asked for it? And that she never really has to use it, because we have a cleaning person? No? l know, I know. And with such other interesting options right at my fingertips. Oh well, I didn’t want any sex for the next month, anyway. Although…
So, how did you spend your Mother’s Day?

I’m really trying hard to see what brand it is, lol, because THAT matters.
My day has been quiet. Nice things from the kids and DH, it’s been a good day. And he fixed the leak in the sink drain, so that was a great present.

It matters if she asked you for a vacuum or if she asked you for a vacuum for Mother’s Day. With one you’re in the clear and the other you’re in deep deserved crap for awhile.
Day was quiet. I enjoy quiet days.

It’s this one.
It was really worth it for this disclaimer alone, about the “Pet Hair TurboBrush”:
“Notice: This tool is designed to remove pet hair from upholstered or carpeted surfaces. It should not be used on pets.”
That must be for the same people that need these.

I did ask for it and I LOVE it!! Our old one had a hose that was duct taped together, so I was due. I love house-crap for holidays. I’m not above it.

Then he needs extra extra for it. I have one like this and the filters can be taken out and washed in water! I have the same filters I had 4 years ago! They are great! Nice choice.

I’d take that gift in a second!
I ate too much and folded laundry. Nothing can stop me from being so wild.

I had a great Day! It was my son`s birtday, my brothers, and Mother`s day!
My 80 year old Mother made a cake with Choc. Bars in it! She could win a prize for it! 3 layers!
I like house stuff also for gifts. Solar lights for around my flower garden. They are really neat. The down side is, I`ll have to weed better!

Thank goodness Dh hasn’t seen Mominatrix’s gift-giving guide. I think I’d prefer a suped-up vacuum too, sans the purple sucking thing!
Vibrators, and dildos, and C-rings Oh My!

Philly, are you from Philadelphia?? Shame shame.. Mother’s Day was originated in Philadelphia. Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia, whose mother had organized women’s groups to promote friendship and health, originated Mother’s Day; on May 12, 1907, she held a memorial service at her late mother’s church in Grafton, West Virginia. Within five years virtually every state was observing the day, and in 1914 President Woodrow Wilson made it a national holiday. There’s a sign stating this on Market Street downtown.

I have that same vacuum! I do NOT have a cleaning lady (but the minute it comes up in conversation I’m jumping on it) so I use it (sometimes) and it is great. I do not use it on my dogs. They freak out when I pull it from the closet. There’s no way I’d get them close enough to it to actually USE on them.

Yes, if it’s exactly what you wanted, then it’s the perfect gift. I mean, how can you go wrong?
