Bring on the carbs! I would NOT have the willpower you do to not eat them! I too, love Food Network. I love watching Iron Chef. I loved the original version too. Loved when that guy bit into the bell pepper!

Allison J, I commend you for cutting carbs. My vice is when the grocery store puts that basket of hot fresh breach by the checkout. I can usually smell it before I see it. I love bad, white, starchy carbs!!!!!

I should probably have the screen name Glutton for Punishment LOL!
Priceless!

I recently cut out carbs in the form of breads, pastas, chips, etc. That is really the only thing that works for me. Fresh veggies and proteins are my friends now. However, the other day I was in the grocery store and an employee was putting out fresh-baked donuts. I swear, I wanted to rip her arm off for a bite! I had to grab some green beans and hit the road!
You know what gets me are those deli roasted chickens, the smell drives me wild! I don't know what it is but when they are cooking those in the store I have to run through and get to the till before I slip on my own drool!

I am both a WW and a fan of the Food network, so basically I should probably have the screen name Glutton for Punishment LOL! My problem is the opposite of yours, late night commercials for Red Lobster, Burger King, Pizza Hut all kill me. The butt says no but the drool says oh yes! It's a good thing that I can't get any of it that late at night or I would eat so much crab I would grow claws :)

Love watching Paula Dean! Maybe it has something to do with her southern hospitality.

Unfortunately I can gain 5 pounds just by looking at pizza or donuts, so I've never actually brought any of her amazing recipes to fruition.

The thing I love about Paula is she is truly a no guilt kind of eater and cook. Bring on the butter, the fat...makes it soooo much better! I am glad I am not chubby....but if I was, I would prefer not to have any guilt about it, like Paula!!!
