Laurie Berkner has to be someone's niece. She's too talentless to be given so much exposure, otherwise. There are good kids' musicians out there. I am big on exposing kids to (good) kids' music because I feel it's a developmental milestone for them in music appreciation. We start them reading on little books with simple plots, we don't just pull out The Sound and The Fury when they're toddlers and expect them to catch on. Same with music, IMO. It's not supposed to entertain US, it's for them. That's my rant.

My almost three year-old exclaimed, "What the HELL?" the other day. Since she's the last in the line, I've given up. Yes, mommy has a potty mouth, and she'll learn, as the others before her, how to avoid those words in certain company.

Walgreens has a great collection of coloring books. In the toy aisle, by the workbooks and flash cards. Grocery stores usually do, too, by the magazines.
