Stoned hippies might have invented it to illustrate what a "bad trip" is like. Or maybe like Silly Putty, it was originally developed by the government. Maybe as a diversion tactic in the Vietnam War. All I know is that my 52 year-old sister is product of that generation, and she would have been prime age for this wiplasher. She's bat-shit crazy you know. I blamed it on her rampant drug experimentation and genetic disorder, but I think really that she might have had a Swing Wing before I was born and it just rattled her brains. Yes, it explains a lot. Would have never believed it if I never saw it! It looks like a reject from that American Inventor reality show. Maybe THAT's why so many old people today have neck and back aches.
