There's no enjoyment to be had there anyway, so nobody's "shopping experience" is ruined by it. It throws a little wrench in the monotony, tosses a little spice into the experience. Old people were entertained by the horror of it, and talked about it for weeks. Single people remembered to buy condoms. Parents of younger children vowed to never let THEIR kid do that. I've watched exactly one episode of that show and it really inspired NO emotion in me whatsoever. I pop in to see if maybe the topic has changed to something interesting, but it hasn't.
