Chipotle is NOT owned by McDonald's. They once owned a majority share, whci you or I could also own if we had the cash, but divested of the shares last year.
Looking good! How is the loss affecting clothing size? I've lost 18 lbs and have barely gone down a size, which makes me wonder just how much too small my clothes actually were before.
Yeah, I'm with you. My old clothes are baggy and they look so much better, but sometimes I wonder how I fit my gigantic ass in my pants to begin with!

Now, I have gone from an XL to L and my dress pants now need a belt. I have hips, so it takes a lot for me to go down a size, but I did just buy some new summer clothes at Target and went from pushing a size 16 to now buying 12's. I guess my old clothes were the type that were more forgiving anyway. Like the jeans I'm wearing in the before and after photo are stretch jeans, so it would take a lot to not be able to wear them at all.

I'm so proud of you Kristy!!! I'll bet you are damn gorgeous!!!!

Wow, you look fabulous!!! Even in a light coloured top like that, you look noticably slimmer in your hips and tummy!! Keep up the good work.

I know how you feel about the salad...I have had a fe of those plateaus when I realized something I had been eating that I thought was a good choice wasn't (hello non-fat peppermint mocha latte!).

It's true that their foods can be overly caloric. However I think you can find some mixes of foods that end up being pretty good in terms of "points". Another option that lots of people will follow is simply to get a salad and a "to go lid" which then allows you to eat half during one meal and the other half the next day (as you said, it's good enough to eat every day!). That obviously cuts down on the point consumption.

One point about ownership - Chipotle was started independently, purchased by McDonalds in 1997, and was then completely sold by McDonalds over the course of 2006. So, they are now owned by the shareholders of CMG stock.

Good luck in your continued search for healthy and tasty foods!

You're making progress! Keep up the good work.

I'm trying to motivate myself to go on a little weight loss program. Time to break out the bike and ride to work soon rather than drive.
