Tom Cruise lands back on Earth, apologizes to Brooke Shields

As reported by the Chicago Tribune, last night on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” guest Brooke Shields revealed that none other than Tom Cruise himself visited her house on Thursday and apologized for their very public feud over antidepressants:
“He came over to my house, and he gave me a heartfelt apology,” Shields said Friday. “And he apologized for bringing me into the whole thing and for everything that happened.
“And through it all, I was so impressed with how heartfelt it was. And I didn’t feel at any time that I had to defend myself, nor did I feel that he was trying to convince me of anything other than the fact that he was deeply sorry. And I accepted it.”
So apparently Cruise being bitch slapped by Sumner Redstone has snapped him a bit back into reality. Is a photo op with baby Suri forthcoming? Will Katie abandon her plans for escape? God, I hope not. The degeneration of Maverick has been one of the most entertaining ongoing stories in years. Care to join me in a nice, hot cup of schadenfreude?

No wonder Tom Cruise became a megastar–he is shameless. This time, he apologized A DAY BEFORE Brooke Shields was to appear in “The Tonight Show”. He should have apologized before Paramount dumped him or, at least, LONG before Brooke Shields was scheduled to appear on this major TV show.

Actually, I’m the one that mentioned the so-called “AP mistake” in my post, so the commenter was probably referring to that.
But so what? I’m not a reporter, I don’t tend to fact check the AP, that’s their job. Come back sometime after your meds kick in.
To the rest of the class, just for fun try reading helene’s comment in a Napoleon Dynamite voice. Gosh!
