Now, (with diabetes and obesity on the rise,) they're saying that breast is best and all babies should be breastfed, to reduce childhod diseases (diabetes, anyone?). Also, the medical community beleived that homosexuality was a mental illness. The medical community used to think childbirth needed intervention and look: Cesarean-sections continue to rise above any other nation IN THE WORLD, and yet, death rates and birth-related injuries are also on the rise. The medical community used to put mercury into child vacines. After an astonishing rise in autism, they realized that maybe they should stop putting this particular poison into infant vaccinations. Look, I'm not saying that the medical community knows nothing, but you have to admit, they don't ALWAYS know best. And sometimes nature does. Cut Tina Carlsen some slack. There are ways to heal your body without letting drs hack into you. OR your 9-month-old infant. Surgery sometimes does more harm than good - even dialysis.
